Part 1;
* For the very last four or five times that I’ve seen Ninong Andy, every time I’d greet him with a hug, he’d tell me, I don’t remember word for word, but he’d say, “Dai Jooseelyn when my funeral, I want you to tok say sumting for me huh? because you know…,”  and I’d cut him off and respond with, “Golly Unko, why you always say dat? The first thing you should say to me is, “Oh hi akong favorite GodDaughter, oh ka guapa geud ka, how are you Dai? Ah da nex time you ask me that, I’m going to canta, “Celebrate his life c’mon,” and we both laugh about it and he says, “Ah that’s why you’re my faborit, make sure ha, promise!” And we high five each other, I don’t even know why I even high fived back. So this is why I’m standing on this podium keeping my very last promise to my Ninong Andy.
* At the family gatherings we’d attend, if my cousin, Jolly and I were present, Uncle Andy would proudly announce to whoever was around us, that these are my GodDaughters, I chose Jolly because she’s bright, cute ka ayo and I was eager and excited to hear what he’d say about me, then he says, “I chose Jocelyn ky fatso, tambook ka ayo while he’s pinching cheeks, WOW buyag. Proud siya ka ayo tambook pa ko buyag belotsingeena.

Part 1;

Part 2;
* After high school, it was summer of 2001, my sister Jacqueline, my cousin, Courtney and I wanted to work in the fields. Uncle Andy being a Supervisor, hired us on the spot. Since the three of us were first timers, one had to work with a separate team of four. Jacq and Court didn’t want to separate, so of course I was the chosen one to work with three new non-English speaking coworkers. Jacq and Court were just a row behind me. I’d always get told “Amiga, apooratè, limpiar bunchè de uvas,” I felt that they were upset that I was slowing down their bonuses so I cried and cried while clipping the bunch of grapes and cleaning it, oh I was miserable all while hearing Jacq and Court laugh, I’d look over my shoulder and they look like they’re enjoying every moment. Then it was lonchè time, Uncle Andy would check on us for lunch and have cold coconut water for us and we’d sit in his air conditioned truck. He asked how everything was, so I informed him how I felt miserable from my coworkers rushing me and I don’t understand what they’re trying to communicate with me, since they only spoke in Spanish. Then lunch ends and the coworkers no longer rushed us, they said, “Amiga, mira bunchè uvas hermosa just like jew.” I was like WOW Uncle Andy was all I needed to have a great experience working in the fields. Thank you Uncle Andy, for always making sure we were ok.
* Thank you for always, always going to all my children’s celebration gatherings.  It made me happy that he and Auntie Linda chose to make time to go to my childrens’ parties instead of casino. I’ll miss you always telling me, “Dai Juleesa like her dad, serious ka ayo,” and I’d say, bitao lewat nimo, serious naong, buyag.

Thankyou for taking care of the family uncle … !!!! Thankyou for taking care of auntie Linda and my cousins ….. and always thinking about momma and doddy !!! Love you uncle !!! May you rest in paradise with God and Jesus!! And all our  loved ones up there uncle !!! Love you!!!!

Dear Uncle Andy,

Your sudden passing was a shock to all of us. We're going to miss you so much especially at family gatherings. You and auntie Linda were always so happy to see the boys. Kyrie remembers you squeezing his nose and pinching his ear. You were always so proud of my accomplishments and excited to share it with everyone. You always loved taking photos to create as memories. I'm so glad you, papa, mama and auntie Linda experienced business ventures with each other and created so many memories. May you rest in peace and may your memories continue to live on. We love you and we're going to miss you so much. Love, the Camat Family

Part 3;
* Thank you Uncle Andy para bisita si Mama og Doddy og e update unsay balita sa bagong chissmiss. When Uncle Andy would call Mama, I happen to always be there, “Bing naka dong-og ka ani, ana… or Bing unsa ang balita? That’s what my Ninong and I have in common, we define the Breaking News. Sigurado mo meengao akong Mama sa iyang chissmosang kaayo Compadre.
* Thank you for including Mama and Doddy on your casino trips or Taco Bell trips. Thank you for dropping off vegetables to Mama and Doddy.
* Thank you Uncle Andy for bringing over my calm before the stormy cousins; Kuya Arnel, Autie Ferlyn, MicMic and the hard to love, speech and debating, Karaoke King Shade. Our childhood days at your house with all the cousins playing Street Fighter or the Race Car game on Sega or Nintendo are one of the best moments ever. Thank you especially for taking care of Auntie Linda.
* Uncle Andy I love you, I’ll miss you forever Ninong Andy. Kabalo na ka, hadlook ka-ayo ko so please ayaw bisita nako, bisita na lang si Jolly, since she’s your other favorite GodDaughter.

I just wanted to say my Deepest condolences to the passing of Uncle Andy. Uncle Andy was always kind to me, and will be missed.  I pray for peace,  and strength for All the Family during this trialing time.  Rest in peace Uncle Andy. Please say hi to my mom  in heaven. Sincerely,  Junior & Denise

My first time meeting the family in Delano, and Nong Andy , it was a welcome party in America that I felt so at home and welcomed. So thankful for that memory. Rest in Peace Nong Andy.

Uncle Andy, I can't believe you are no longer with us.  One core memory I will have of you was in the summer of 2001,  when I had my first job working in the fields and you were our (myself, Joce & Court) supervisor.  Thank you for that experience.  The best part was you always came to visit us everyday for lunch and/or break and would offer us coconut water, crackers or pandesal.  We would eat and drink inside your truck where it was nice and airconditioned.  You will be missed uncle Andy.  Thank you for being there for the family.  May your soul rest in peace.  We love you uncle Andy.
