Daisy Mata Cena, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, passed away at the age of 67 after a courageous 29-year battle with chronic cardiovascular disease.
Daisy was born on November 19, 1958, in Morong, Rizal, Philippines, to her parents, Guillermo Mata and Remigia Mata, who later made their home in Delano, California.
Throughout her life, Daisy was cherished for the love she shared with her family and friends and for the many meaningful relationships she formed and treasured. She will be remembered by those who knew her for the special place she held in the lives of her loved ones.
Daisy is survived by her loving husband, Antonio Cena; her son, Dave Cena; daughter-in-law, Janilee Cena; her two grandchildren, Devin Cena and Jaylen Cena; and her sister, Nedy Mata. She also leaves behind many extended family members, relatives, and friends who will continue to cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Guillermo and Remigia Mata, and her middle brother, Edgardo Mata.
