Elicia Herrera Moreno was born to Crecensio and Maria Refugia Herrera on July 1, 1940 in Rio Hondo, TX. She passed away in Delano, California on Sunday September 8, 2019. Elicia was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be missed by all.

Elicia is preceded in death by her daughter Elizabeth Moreno of Shelbyville, TN and she is survived by her sons Jesus Moreno (Delano, CA), Jose Moreno (Atlanta, GA), Jorge Moreno (Tulare, CA), Johnny Moreno (Lamont, CA); and her daughters Linda Moreno (Shelbyville, TN), Lucinda Moreno (Lemoore, CA), Leticia Moreno (Shelbyville, TN), and Lydia Moreno (Murfreesboro, TN).

A visitation for Elicia will take place on Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Delano Mortuary, 707 Browning Road, Delano, CA 93215 with the rosary beginning at 6:00 PM. On Friday, September 13, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM a mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Mary's of the Miraculous Medal Parish, 916 Lexington St., Delano, CA 93215 in memory of Elicia, and a committal service will follow immediately after mass at North Kern Cemetery District, 627 Austin St., Delano, CA 93215.

Serving as pallbearers are Jesus Moreno, Jose Moreno, Leonard Herrera, Alfredo Herrera, Jorge Moreno and Johnny Moreno.

We would like to share a memeory My Brother Richard My Sister Luci Ono came to visit and Elicia came with them and stayed at our house we really enjoyed her company & she was a pretty Amazing , Strong & Beautiful Lady inside and out I wish I would have got to spend more time around her all the Memories Luci had told us about her Mama Will always be memories too remember . I want to say she will be missed very dearly .God Bless all of her Children & Grandchildren
