Emiteria Baltazar

Emiteria Baltazar (Lola, Nene) age 86 of Delano, California passed away on September 13, 2010 in Delano, California. Emiteria was born on February 20, 1924 in Manila, Philippines and was a retired Crew Supervisor. Emiteria is survived by her sister, Gabriela Sunga Obligacion. Her brother, Jose Sunga Obligacion, Jr. Her sons: Nicolas Baltazar, Sr., (Frances) of San Francisco, Wilfred Baltazar Jr., (Shirley) of San Diego, and Edward Baltazar (Barbara) of Los Angeles. She is also survived by six grandsons, two granddaughters, three great-granddaughters and four great-grandsons and numerous nieces and nephews.

Emiteria was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wilfred Baltazar, Sr., and her parents Jose and Teodora Obligacion. Services will be held on September 23, 2010 at Delano Mortuary, Viewing from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Rosary will begin at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on September 24, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Delano, California. Pallbearers will be Daryl Baltazar, Derek Baltazar, Dominic Baltazar, Douglas Baltazar, Dustin Baltazar, and Nicolas Baltazar, Jr. Presiding Clergy will be Father Ervan Beers, OFM. Mrs. Baltazar was also a founding member of The Filipino Community of Earlimart, and was a member of Delano Senior Citizens, and the Filipino Catholic Organization of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will be on September 25, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Culver City, California.
