Estrella Ramos Acosta

Estrella Ramos Acosta, 81, was born on March 4, 1945, in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, and passed away on June 24, 2026. She will be remembered as a beloved mother and grandmother whose steady strength, honesty, and wisdom shaped the lives of those who knew her, and whose faith carried her with quiet courage through every season of life.

Estrella earned her CNA certificate through hard work and determination—an early reflection of the brave, hard-working spirit that defined her. She approached life with firm resolve and a strong will, never easily turned aside, and her example became a lasting source of inspiration to her family.

A widow, Estrella was the proud mother of one son and the cherished grandmother of two grandchildren. In the home, her generosity was felt in the everyday ways that matter most: in the meals she prepared, the care she gave, and the steady presence she offered. She loved to walk and exercise, to plant vegetables in the backyard, and to fill her days with the simple satisfactions of baking, crafting, and cooking Filipino dishes—expressions of love made tangible through her hands and her time.

Estrella lived in Delano, California. Her faithful devotion was evident in her deep love for church, where she went every Sunday, grounding her life in prayer and reverence.

The family would like to express heartfelt thanks to my wife, Auntie Fely, my cousin Delia, and my son Kylan for watching over my mother while I was away for work. Their care and presence were a true comfort and a meaningful gift.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Delano, 707 Browning Rd., Delano, CA 93215, on July 6, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Rosary will follow at Funeraria Del Angel Delano on July 6, 2026, at 6:00 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal Parish, 916 Lexington St., Delano, CA 93215, on July 7, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. A Committal Service will follow at North Kern District Cemetery, 627 Austin St., Delano, CA 93215, on July 7, 2026, from 10:00 am to 10:30 am.
