

Flora was born on July 29, 1930, in Laoag, Philippines, and later made her home in Earlimart, California, where she lived for over 60 years. She worked with dignity and dedication as a farm laborer for more than three decades, providing for her family and contributing to the local community.
Beyond her hard work, Flora was deeply committed to her cultural and social roots. She was an active member of the Earlimart Filipino Community, Inc. and The Legionarios de Trabajo, Inc., where she built lasting friendships and supported others in keeping traditions alive.
Flora was a joyful soul who loved gatherings—whether with family or friends, she cherished every opportunity to celebrate life. She especially enjoyed parties filled with laughter, dancing, and good food. In her free time, she found excitement in visiting Eagle Mountain and Tachi, where she delighted in gambling and being part of the lively atmosphere.
She is survived by her loving sons Guy Ventura and Jim Benny Ventura, along with her devoted daughter-in-law Shirley Rosetes Ventura. Flora was preceded in death by her beloved husband Benny Ventura.
Flora will be remembered for her warmth, her strength, and her unwavering love for family and friends.
Her legacy will live on in the countless lives she touched throughout her 95 remarkable years.
A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Flora, where family and friends will gather to share memories and pay tribute to her extraordinary journey.

A mass of christian burial for Flora will be held Friday, October 17, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Jude's Catholic Church, 1270 E Washington St., Earlimart, CA 93219. A visitation will occur Friday, October 17, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Delano, 707 Browning Rd., Delano, CA 93215. A rosary will occur Friday, October 17, 2025 at 5:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Delano, 707 Browning Rd., Delano, CA 93215. A committal service will occur Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at North Kern District Cemetery, 627 Austin St., Delano, CA 93215.
Serving as pallbearers are Nicolas Beltran, Peter Beltran, Rodrigo Cunanan, Pepe Pascua, Luke Apodaca and Ivan Apodaca.
