Gerald went to school in McFarland California. He worked as a master masonry creating beautiful Rock Wall Fireplaces with his brother-in-law, brother, and cousin and helping his brother in the Hay Bailing business. He went into Irrigation with Roberts Farms creating arms and small hose connections for rubber hoses for more efficient watering for the farmer making his way into his career he went back to school taking classes at Cal Poly and Fresno State to enter a career in entomology which lead to his job with AFC spray company, Orange Cove, and then his own company TechServ Crop Care and then his present company Advanced Foliar with his Son and partner.
Gerald loved his Corvette and his Horses especially Morris Van Bar his 1980 World Champion Stock Horse, 1976 World Champion Sliding Stock Horse, they accomplished many wins throughout their careers and lots of babies. He then turned his many achievements to hunting, Rifle, Bow, Compound Bow, and musket shooting. He enjoyed hunting pheasant, quail, dove, big horn sheep, occasionally a wild boar. When he wasn't hunting, you could find him on Friday's driving a ball at the Golf Course or he'd be sinking a line at Buena Vista, he loved trout fishing. Gerald's Love was his family, but his heart belonged to Colorado where his Elk and Deer ran in his pastures, he was an excellent marksman and has passed his abilities down to his children and grandchildren, who all love the Hunt.
