Herbert "Cugat" Alejo Gardner, age 86, of Delano, California passed away on Saturday March 31, 2018. "Cugat" was born August 17, 1931 in Philippines.

"Cugat" is survived by his wife, Dorothy Gardner; son Hubert Gardner; and son Herbert Gardner.

A visitation for "Cugat" will be held Monday, April 9, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Delano Mortuary, 707 Browning Road, Delano, CA 93215. A rosary will occur Monday, April 9, 2018 at 6:00 PM, 707 Browning Road, Delano, CA 93215. A mass of christian burial will occur Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Mary's of the Miraculous Medal Parish, 916 Lexington St., Delano, CA 93215. A committal service will occur Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at North Kern District Cemetery, 627 Austin St., Delano, CA 93215.

Serving as pallbearers are Hubert Gardner, Herbert Lee Gardner Jr., Allan Gardner, Andy Acevedo, Joel Acevedo and Lawrence Gardner.
