Isabel V. Arvizu

Isabel is survived by her four daughters, Teresa (Jim DeLaMater) of Delano CA, Margarita (Troy DeForrest) of Rancho Mission Viejo, CA, Isabel (Tom Scott) of Parker CO, and Bertha (Reyes Castro Jr) of Bakersfield CA, seven grandchildren, Katrina Rae Shoats, Erica (Raul Lopez), Joseph Scott, Katherine (Chuck Andrews), Alicia DeLaMater, Jordan Scott and Christopher DeLaMater, nine great grandchildren, Nathaniel, Valerie, Charlie, Kenny, Luke, Raylan, Devin, Kyle and Jaxon and her two sisters, Virginia Niewinski and Carmen Villalvazo.

A widow for over 36 years, she was married to Manuel C Arvizu. Together, they raised their daughters in the Catholic faith, parishing at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. She was devoted to her church and its community. Volunteering when and where she could. She lived her life to serve and was available to others in need. She had a passion for gardening, traveling and never turn down an opportunity to go shopping.

A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 AM on September 22, 2021 at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Father Miguel Campos will officiate. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.delanomortuary.com for the Arvizu family.
