From an early age, John’s curiosity and passion for electronics inspired him to pursue his education at Bakersfield College, where he graduated. He spent most of his life living and working in San Jose, California, where he was respected by his peers as an Electronics Engineer and took great pride in his work and profession.
After retirement, John returned to his hometown of Delano, where he enjoyed being closer to friends, family and the community he called home.
John is survived by his beloved wife, Venus Dahilig, of Delano, CA; his two sons, Nasser Dahilig and Joshua Dahilig, of San Jose, CA; and his beloved grandson, Raphael.
John was preceded in death by Rosalia D. Casabar, John Y. Dahilig, and Elsie Dahilig Robinson.
John will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his passion for electronics, his kindness to others, and the lasting friendships he made throughout his life. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
