

Judy was a very intelligent, smart and witty child. She was actually the comedian of the family.
Judy accepted Christ in her life at the young age of 15 years old and was baptized in Jesus Name while visiting with family at The Light of the World Apostolic Cathedral in San Jose, CA. Judy never forgot about her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Judy graduated from Delano High in 1981. Before graduation, she applied and was immediately accepted to San Jose State University where she received her B.A. in Business Management.
Judy grew into a beautiful woman and began modeling.
With her skills in business, Judy started the Cocodelochi’s Miss Bay Area Modeling Pageant in 1991 which allowed contestants to get a chance at becoming “America’s Next Top Model”.
Judy enhanced her career goals by pursuing and accepting a position as a Sheriff’s Deputy Correctional Officer with The County of Santa Clara, Department of Corrections where she met her husband, Robert Gibson. Judy graduated from the academy on July 14, 1989 and was promoted to Training Officer before she retired in 2006.
Judy was a very caring person who will always be in our hearts. The special name “Judo” was affectionately used by her sister, Shirley. Judy will be remembered for her thoughtfulness. Judy never had anything bad to say about anyone regardless of race or ethnic background. Thanks to her, we can all be a better person.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Clara Murray and Samuel Wilson; and her brother Robert Forest Murray.
Surviving Judy “Judo” Wilson are those who will cherish her memories: brother, Larry Charles Murray; sister, Jessie Carol Jacobs, Rev. Janice Lee Holman (husband, Rev. Glen Holman), Evangelist Shelia Mae Sapp and Shirley Wilson; nephews, Samuel and Daniel Holman, Jimmy Lovell Turner II and Brandon-Michael Henry Turner; cousin, Fannie Lee Factory and a host of relatives and friends.
Viewing to be held at the Delano Mortuary 707 Browning Rd. Delano, CA on Thursday, November 1, 2012 from 4:00pm-8:00pm and on Friday, November 2, 2012 from 9:00am-11:00am followed by funeral services at 11:00am. Burial to follow funeral services at North Kern District Cemetery, Delano at 1:00 PM.
