Auntie,,i'm still thinking about you 6 months later and i'm sure i still will 10,20 years from now. My mother misses you so much. Sometimes i feel at times that she is missing her Thelma to her Louise. She misses the talks everyday and the visits. You were a true sister to her and she lets it be known when we talk, something she is trying to instill in your girls but it ain't working. I love and miss you to auntie. It just ain't the same without you.  You are the auntie that everyone should've had in their lives. I'm glad you were in mine. My visits to Delano always included a visit to see you, my favorite auntie. I love and miss you,,,it just ain't the same. ...your niece Karen Diane Collins Todd,,,your nephew Larry says he will miss you also.

It is with a heavy heart that I send my condolences to you Ruby and the Hill Family. Having experienced this situation in 2009, my heart is heavy with your sorrow. Please remember that above all, Lorene was a blessing in your and many other's lives as well. I will forever remember her wonderful smile that made one feels if he/she were family. Serving as Lorraine's Assist Pastor at St. Paul Pixley church she will be remembered as a faithful and hard working member. From the Dodson family, she is remembered as one of our church best cooks. Eating from her cuisine was joy that ushered in a spirit of love and fellowship.

To the Hill, my prayers are with you all. I love you all so dearly. To my nephew Ruben Hill Sr. The 60 years of marriage you shared with Lorraine is something to beheld as beauty. Lorraine is a solider and glue piece to the Hill family. 

I remember working with her at St Paul Pixley church. I could always depend on her to help in the kitchen and support the youth ministry. She always made sure that those kids had every thing they needed.  Watching her drilled Godly principles into all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren is something that touches my heart and I hold her in the greatest respect. 
As the last survivor of the Reeves Family, I want encourage all of you to hold onto God's unchanging hand.  Opal Madie Holland

Lorene was like a ray of sunshine. Any room she stepped into she lit it up with her smile. I am going to miss this kind spirit and the warm welcome she gave no matter when and where I saw her.

My prayers go out to the family. It hurts to think that my cousin has passed away. I know she is in a better place. It saddens me though to think that time has drawn our families so far away. As I write this, I can remember the times my parents took me to Delano to see my uncle, aunt, and cousins. We were young and thought that the times together would last forever. Now it will take time to get over the pain, but Lorene will always be in everyone's heart. I see her smiling and laughing and making sure everyone is at ease. I love you all.
