I was looking for information on my childhood friend Rosalinda who is/was Junior Garza's sister and just found out that he has passed away.   How heartbreaking.  I remember him as a little kid.  We all used to hang out together.  My condolences to his family.


Lorenzo was a longtime friend and co-worker. He will be missed by myself and all the other guys at work. He was very detailed when it came to his work, funny at times, and quiet at times, but certainly a good man.

To the Garza family, I am truly sorry for your loss, Junior was a good fun guy to hang with. I knew him as a kid growing up in 1978-80 as kids on the of Oxford, Norwalk & Oleander blocks. I remember when we used to play matchstick fights at night in the street in front of his house, riding bikes, trying to dig a tunnel, LOL, among other memories. We had a lot of fun times together him and I.. Like my brother David said, when he came to visit us years ago he was like family and we treated him like family because to all three of us he was family.. I remember his great big smile his thoughfulness to us, he was a caring young man. I'm more sad to say that in these last two decades I/we did not stay in touch with one another. And to find out about him passing made my heart drop and I was instantly thinking of all the things we used to do as kids together, which put a smile on my face. I will always carry those memories of him laughing and having a good time.. Again, truly I am saddened he is now gone.. Rest In Peace now my brother!! Love you man!!!

To the family of Lorenzo Garza Jr.  My heart goes out to you. I too share in your sadness and grief.  Jr. was a part of our family. Growing up together , remembering the funny things we laughed at , all memories we will continue to have with us. May your time of sorrow Cecilia be lightened by having Jesus in your heart. May the Lord see you and your family through. Lorenzo was a good man, I will always remember him as such.

Jr. was a longtime family friend.  I have known him for most of my life.  He was very comfortable around my family, as we grew up together.  My brother and Jr. had a nickname for me which I didn't like.  As a kid, it would annoy me when they would call me by that nickname, but as I got older it didn't bother me any longer, to me it was a term of endearment which only they could call me, anyone else, was not acceptable.    He was always welcomed at my parent's home, he was very well liked by them, he showed them nothing but respect.  We will all cherish the memories that we have of him, and we will all truly miss him.

My family and I have known Jr. since we were all kids. He was the one that we got to know the most out of all the Garza siblings.  He and my husband worked together for many years.  The picture was taken on the day we buried our brother Robert.  After all family and friends left my mom and dad's house, Jr. was the only one that stayed  with my family. As you can see, it is was already getting dark.  He stayed behind to share memories and to make us laugh, which he did. To me, he will be remembered as a respectful, kind, and soft spoken man.  Very respectful to my parents. Truly he will be missed by us all.  May you all find comfort as time passes in the beautiful memories that you have of him.
