Mrs. Oleta Slatton, 72 a long time resident of Arkansas and a recent resident of Delano, passed away on October 7, 2010 in Delano, California. Mrs. Slatton was born on August 14, 1938 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. She is survived by her Mother, Edna Mc Quay, and sister Faye Pyle-Morero. Brother, Nick Mc Quay and her sons Jeff Slatton, Maurice Slatton and Grandson Alston Slatton. She was preceded in death by her Father Louie Mc Quay. Services will be October 14, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Delano Mortuary. Pallbearers will be: Mort Wallace, Douglas Johnson, Pete Pyle, Nick Mc Quay, Bryce Allard, and Jeff Slatton. Presiding Clergy will be Reverend Bryan Allard. Final resting place will be North Kern District Cemetery in Delano, California.
