He is preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents Emmanuel and Velda Carter and his Paternal Grandparents Pete and RuthTaylor.
He leaves behind 2 sons, Cody and David Taylor, daughter and son-in-law, Thomas and TeAnna Myrick, and his daughter Kimberly Taylor. He was blessed with 3 Grandaughters, Madison, Makenzie, and Mazee Myrick, daughters of Thomas and TeAnna Myrick. He is survived by one brother, Randy Taylor and his neice and nephew Ashley and Nicholas Taylor.
Born and raised in Delano California Ricky was well known for his athletic abilities and his humorous disposition. He was A loving gentle man who loved the outdoors almost as much as he loved being surrounded by his family and friends. Everything that Ricky did was with a passion whether it was sports, work, or relationships there was nothing mediocre about him.
He attended Delano Joint Union High School where he received his Block D letterman's jacket, and several medals from his dedication and participation in multiple contact sports, including Baseball, Wrestling, and Football. In his Senior year, his Alumni awarded him The Morris Blanket Award for his years of outstanding performance and sportsmanship.
Rick formed lifetime relationships with his friends, family, and coworkers, regardless of how much time, or distance would seperate them. Life was important to him, and he would go on to live it to the fullest.
