Our deepest condolences to the Torrrez family.  I may not have met Ruben Torrez, Sr on this earth, but I look forward to the day I will meet him in glory.  Our family has been blessed to have Ruben Torrez, Jr, his son, as a wonderful part of our family. He is our son, too. Maybe not physically but spiritually.....a strong servant of our Lord Jesus Christ. May God bless all of you with peace and strength through this difficult trial.

I met Rueben through my sister and her husband Clarence on their ranch in Bakersfield. I used to visit from England. Ruben always had a smile on his face and I always couldn't wait to see him on my visits. He had a little chihuahua who was as fiesty as him. Rest in peace dude. Love you 

I remember when Rubin and I worked in the fields irrigating almonds. I just heard about Rubin sorry for your loss. I don't hear much about the family since I live here in Oregon. I hope the family is doing well.       David Bacio

I was saddened to hear of Rubens passing. He’s been a lifelong friend. My prayers and condolences to the families. Rest In Peace Ruben. Godspeed.

I just want to say so sorry for your loss, I know the pain you guys are going through and some say it gets better but it really doesn’t, everyday is a day without our loved  one. The way I’ve dealt with the loss of my brother is knowing one day we will meet again, but when it’s our time not now,  it’s gonna be hard but you will get through this, just knowing he’s no longer suffering in pain he’s free. Lots of love and prayers going your way. Love you all!
