Wilson Ramos Bartolome, 66, passed away on June 2, 2026. Born on December 2, 1959, Wilson will be remembered as a beloved, devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose steady presence, faithful heart, and quiet wisdom anchored the lives of those who loved him. A man of resilience and loyalty, he showed up—early and on time—not only by habit, but by devotion, always ready to be there for family and to celebrate every achievement, big or small.
Wilson spent his early years in Hawaii, attending elementary and middle school there and later Mililani High School. Those roots stayed with him, shaping the thoughtful, hard-working spirit that carried through every chapter of his life.
From 1979 to 1983, Wilson served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Hawaii. His service reflected the strength and steadfastness that defined him—disciplined, dependable, and committed to something greater than himself.
Wilson also built a remarkable working life with Costco, dedicating thirty-six years of consistent effort and pride to his career. His journey took him from Hawaii to Clovis, California, and then to Bakersfield, California—years marked by perseverance, reliability, and the kind-hearted decency that earns lasting respect.
Wilson’s greatest joy was his family. He had two sons from his first marriage, and with his wife, Alelie, he shared two daughters: angelyn, the oldest, and leilani, the youngest. He was also a proud grandfather: one granddaughter and one grandson through his oldest son, Joseph; and two granddaughters and one grandson through his son, Jordan. In all the ways that mattered, Wilson’s love was constant—protective, thoughtful, and deeply present.
In the quieter moments, Wilson found comfort in simple pleasures: gardening, relaxing, going out, and watching TV—especially when his favorite football team, the Rams, were on. He was also a faithful presence at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, where his devotion reflected the steady faith that guided him through life.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to his wife, Alelie, who was always there for him and never left his side. They are also thankful for all family and friends who stood with Wilson and his loved ones, and for the medical staff who cared for him.
Wilson is very much loved and appreciated. He has imprinted so many memories on everyone. You will be missed by many and will be watching over us from above. May he reunite with our other family members in heaven, continuing to watch over those he loved and to witness the lives still unfolding in his honor.
