Clifton Ahhaitty, age 80, of Denison, Texas passed away on Friday March 6, 2020. Clifton was born February 7, 1940 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Irene (Yellowfish) Ahhaitty and Walter Ahhaitty Sr..

Clifton is survived by his spouse, Allene Viola Davis Ahhaitty; son Clifton Rick Ahhaitty; daughters Karisa Couch, Cheryl Chalouhi, Mary Lathum, sisters Kay Ahhaitty Smits and Patti Ahhaitty Cravatt.

Clifton was preceded in death by; son Richard Ray Stockman; father Walter Ahhaitty Sr. and mother Irene(Yellowfish) Ahhaitty; brother Melvin Ahhaitty; sisters Shirley Sokey, Barbara Ahhaitty and sister Carol Ahhaitty.

He married his wife Allene October 9, 1970 in Durant, Oklahoma. Clifton joined the Airforce was trained as a Medic. He served as Airforce Corman Sargent from 1965-1969. He was also a member of Trinity Lighthouse Church, member of CVIA, and a former member of the Kiwanis Club.

A visitation for Clifton will be held Monday, March 9, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bratcher Funeral Home, Denison, TX. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 1:30 PM at Trinity Lighthouse Church, Denison, TX, with pastor Raymond England officiating, burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery, Calera, OK.

Serving as pallbearers are Clifton Rick Ahhaitty, Travis Ahhaitty, Christopher Chalouhi, David Couch II, Kevin Couch and James Lathum.

He was the light in the darkness and shined all day and night was always kind and caring and did everything for everybody and helped them out took grandkids to church every Sunday and Wednesday and Starbucks if they wanted he was the best person out there that had that kind of heart he is one of a kind he will be missed dearly and never forgotten and will be in our hearts for ever -granddaughter -Mia ❤️❤️

Clifton Ahhaitty served with honor in the Air Force from 21 September 1965 to 29 January 1969. He completed Basic Military Training at Lackland AFB, TX and the Medical Helper Course at Kessler AFB, MS. Sgt Ahhaitty served the remainder of his active duty with the 4780th Air Defense Wing Hospital at Perrin AFB, TX. He was a Medical Specialist which is equivalent of a Army Medic and Navy Corpsman. His awards include the Good Conduct and National Defense Service Medals, the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award and the Air Force Medical Specialist Insignia. The Air Force, the states of Oklahoma and Texas, Kiowa Tribe and Comanche Nation and the Republic thank him for his dedicated, faithful and Honorable Military service.
