Jean was a memorable ole' sole who never met a stranger and never met anyone stranger than her as well. She loved people and was full of life. You always knew when she entered the room because she reminded you of Flo from the old TV show, Mel's Diner. In fact, she had her children convinced for years that they made that TV show after her. Jean was a loving, vivacious, caring person and it poured out onto her family. She was loved by her husband; 6 wonderful children; 39 fantastic grandchildren, 31 amazing great grandchildren and 4 adorable great, great grandchildren and still counting! She will truly be missed by this legacy that called her Girl Jean, Mom and best of all, Nana.
Jean worked hard throughout her life, being that fun loving, spunky waitress when downtown Sherman was the place to be and then later in life worked as an aviation seat maker and seamstress. But nothing was more delightful to her than being a mother and grandmother. And when asked about her youthful appearance, she always just smiled and said, "well I'll be 39.....again" .
