I have so many memories of Aunt Gladys even though I'm not blood-related. I became acquainted with Gladys in 1963 when her nephew, Glenn Reasor and I became engaged. She and Grandma Holt began telling me the family stories and I loved her from the start! We had many picnics at Loy Lake as well as cooking and enjoying many Thanksgiving meals at Grandma's house. When I went to her home she always had a recipe to share and I still have those. What a good cook she was. She always loved showing me her beautiful garden she had nearly every year. She and Juanita treasured their 2 hour conversations when Gladys would call. I loved her sense of humor and smile. She loved her church and family and served everyone well. She is now in the loving arms of Jesus Christ and will be missed here until we meet again.
