Singer, Alvin Ray Taylor passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 in his residence.
Originally from North Carolina, Mr. Taylor has been in this area since 2000. He was an Air force Veteran, likes gardening, and taking care of his animals. He was of the Baptist faith and did the financial aspects of the company, Beacon.
Survivors include his grandson, Gary Underwood and wife Amanda; 2 great grandchildren, Sara & Kara Underwood; sister, Lois DeAngleo and husband Jerry of Port St. Lucy, FL; brother in law Elton Barks and wife Barbara of Starks. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Doris Taylor and a daughter, Suzanna Underwood.
His funeral service will be at 12:00p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2015 in Hixson Snider Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Schultz officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery.
