Vinton - Amy Jo Palmer was born in Orange, Texas on September 22, 1977. She went to be with the Lord on September 19, 2013 at Christus St. Patricks Hospital. Her funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Hixson Snider Funeral Home in DeQuincy. She will be laid to rest in Alston Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, September 23 at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Amy Jo is survived by her mother, Edith Sue Palmer of Vinton, La.; 3 sons, Ashton Palmer of Vinton, La., Freety Parker, Jr. and Devin Parker of Sulphur, La.; 2 sisters, Angela Alston Trahan and Cynthia Palmer Hodges; cousin and best friend, Christene Sims Martin and best friend, Denise Carter; and a large extended family and her many beloved friends.
