Barbara Ann Burk

Barbara loved her family dearly and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She loved to cook and help those in need.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Arrie and Mandy Hooks; husband, Johnny Ray Burk Sr. of 50 years; grandchild, Molly Burk and great grandchild, Emilee Hess; brother, AD Hooks; sisters, Bertha Mae Swor, Katherine Kinard, and Geraline Lusk.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Johnny Ray Burk Jr. ( Robin) of Conway, AR and Billy Wayne Burk (Tammy Ann) Vinton, LA; daughters, Ruby Hess (Ronald), Tammy Frazier (Bean), Billie Jean Perkins (Craig) all of DeQuincy, LA; grandchildren Sam Burk, Lindsay Burk, Mandy Rollins, Russell Frazier, Cullen Pharris, Quentin Pharris, Oakley Perkins, Barbie McNeal, Lee Hess, Chrisitina Fodrie, Joey Laughlin, Kristen Thibodeaux; great- grandchildren, Mikell Gore, Kaden Gore, Jasmine Hess, Bentlee Hess, Natalee Hess, Eydan Rollins, Jaycee Red, Chase Red, Tyler Laughlin, Kylie Laughlin, Baylie Laughlin, Alexis Moore, Kayah Rickman, Landon Wadell, Brantley Thibodeaux; Great Great-grandchildren Bejamin Turner, Lawrence Dupree; sister, Earline Gore.

Visitation Will be held at Hixson-Snider Funeral Home of DeQuincy on Tuesday December 26, 2017 from 10am until 2pm. Funeral Services will be held on the same day at 2pm. Burial will follow at Hyatt Cemetery. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com
