Berness Raymond "Buddy" LeBlanc

Buddy LeBlanc, 68, of Round Rock, TX, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Cedar Park Regional Medical Center in Round Rock, TX.

He was born August 1, 1945 in Orange, TX to Berness W. and Shirley (Belfry) LeBlanc. He married Marilyn Carlson on November 12, 1966 in DeQuincy, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving is his wife, Marilyn of Round Rock, TX; three daughters, Meredith (Mike) Musgrove of DeQuincy; Kori LeBlanc of Round Rock, TX and Erin (Fiance' Marques Kibodeaux) LeBlanc of Baton Rouge, five grandchildren, Ben, Colton, Claire, Marlee Musgrove and Estelle Kibodeaux, one brother Billy LeBlanc of Vidor and several nieces and nephews.

Buddy attended Louisiana Tech and McNeese and was the Owner and Operator of MKM Plumbing for over 30 years. He loved his work and was Master Medical Gas Certified. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and working outdoors.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 5 to 9 pm at Hixson Snider Funeral Home in DeQuincy. A funeral service will be Friday, January 31, 2014 at 10:00 am with visitation one hour prior to the service at at the First United Methodist Church in DeQuincy. Burial will follow the service at Masonic Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Memorial Fund at the First United Methodist Church in DeQuincy.
