Ms. Betty loved to knit, crochet and make pine needle baskets. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church of DeQuincy.
Survivors include her brother, Vernon "Butch" Yellott; numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Wallace R. LaCroix; parents, Andrew and Bessie Yellott; and sister, Gywendalynn Pitre.
Her Home-Going will be at 10:00am Tuesday, March 11, in Hixson-Snider Funeral Home of DeQuincy. The Rev. Wayne Neyland will officiate. Visitation is from 5-8pm Monday, March 10 at the funeral home.
