Bobbie was born to Pete and Minnie Beason, the third of four daughters, on October 4, 1935 in Bancroft, Louisiana but spent most of her life in DeQuincy. She began to put her hard work ethics to use starting at a young age in her mother’s store, Beason's Grocery. While married to Avery (Junior) Pierce she raised three children, while working as a beautician for 35 years. She spent her free time following her passion, as a painter and writer, and enjoyed quilting for the ones she loved.
She is survived by one sister, Elena and husband Howard Brown of Florida and three children, Jackie Tyler, DeAnna Tyler and Avery Pierce Jr. all of DeQuincy. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren and eight precious great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Odell and Hazel along with one granddaughter, Dani Marie Pierce.
Visitation is Tuesday June 5th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and Wednesday morning from 9:00 am until services begin at 10:00 am. in the Hixon-Snider Chapel located in DeQuincy. Bobbie will be laid to rest in Hyatt Cemetery located in Fields, Louisiana immediately following services.
