Bobbie Rue Ritter

A native of DeQuincy, La. Mrs. Ritter had lived in DeQuincy for her last 20 years. She was Baptist and attended Hargrove Bible Baptist Church. She loved to sew, knit, crochet cook and bake. She also loved and taught Bible Study, and was very involved with her church. Bobbie liked a variety of foods, loved her family and friends, step grandchildren, nieces and nephews,

Survivors include her son, Roger Ritter and wife Aurora of Round Rock, Tx.; sister, Diane Barrow and husband David of DeQuincy; two step grandchildren, Ladi and Bini and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Ritter, son James Michael Ritter: brothers, Johnny and Bennie Langley and sister, Janelle Doyle.

Her funeral service will be on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 2:00pm at Hixson Snider Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Harry Methvin and Rev. Paul Nugent officiating. Burial will be in Perkins Cemetery.
