DeQuincy - Carol A. Hagar, 59, entered into a well deserved rest after a heroic two year battle against breast cancer on Tuesday December 6, 2011 at a local hospital.
Mrs. Hagar was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne Hagar of DeQuincy; one son, Kevin Hagar of DeQuincy; one brother, Jerry Phillips and wife Donna of Fields, La; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Hazel Phillips.
As requested by Carol there will be no funeral services. There will be a graveside service held at Masonic Cemetery on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. under the direction of Hixson Snider Funeral Home. Words of comfort may be
