She always took great care of her family and kept the home fires burning. In her earlier years, she was always helping the church which she loved in any way she could. She was a faithful member of New Hope Baptist Church in DeQuincy for most all of her life.
She is survived by one son, Mike Williams and wife Jean of Lake Charles; one daughter, Becky and husband Raymond Cook of Moss Bluff; one sister, Trouble and husband Bobby Henagan of DeQuincy; three grandchildren, Cher LaRocque and husband Mark of DeQuincy, Laci Gilbert and husband Jud of Singer; Reagan LeBouef and husband Aaron of Carlyss; two great grandchildren, Jack LeBouef, Lorelei Gilbert; along with one great great grandson, Aiden Cook.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Lynn Williams; parents, James and Mamie Marcantel; one brother, Lloyd “Doc” Marcantel; two sisters, Ruby Seefeld, and Myrtle King.
Services will be held at 3:00pm on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Hixson Snider Funeral Home of DeQuincy with Bro. Jeff Ralston officiating. Visitation will be at Hixson Snider Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 5:00-9:00pm and will resume on Wednesday from 2:00pm until the time of the service.
