
Bunnie was a devoted wife, mother and a cherished grandmother and great grandmother. Her favorite times were spent with her family and friends. Bunnie is a native of Palo Alto, California and has lived in Louisiana since 1970. She worked as a medical transcriber for 25 years and for the DeQuincy News for 19 years.
She is survived by her sons, Gregg Peloquin and wife, Carol Franks Peloquin of DeQuincy, Brett Peloquin of Sulphur; daughter, Darci Peloquin Ensminger and husband, Steve of Lake Charles; grandchildren, Andy Peloquin and wife, Stephanie Abshire Peloquin of DeQuincy, Mark Peloquin of DeQuincy, Matt Peloquin, Luke Peloquin, Jared Peloquin and Courtney Peloquin all of Lake Charles, Lexi Ensminger Jackson and husband, Todd of Moss Bluff and great grandchildren, Danon Claire Jackson, Davin Lee Peloquin and Andrew Lee Peloquin. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Floyd Ray Peloquin; parents, Edith Dimock Gully and Lawrence Fletcher Gully and brother, Neil Lawrence Gully.
Her funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday, November 19, 2010 at Hixson Snider Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Father Jude Brenette will officiate. Burial will be in Lacassine Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, 10 a.m. til time of service. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonsnider.com
