Visitation for Georgie Inez Wilson, 92, of DeQuincy will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, July 17 at Hixson-Snider Funeral Home in DeQuincy, immediately followed by burial in Perkins Cemetery in DeQuincy.
A native of Choudrant, LA, Mrs. Wilson died Sunday, June 12, 2015, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband, H.L.(Louis) Wilson; her parents, Vera Mae & Poly Morris Turner; her sister, Florine O’Bannon; and brothers Arthur G. Turner and Charles H. Turner.
Survivors include her three children, daughters, Sandra Wilson and Bebop Wilson Alexander of Sulphur; son Wallace Wilson & wife Tracey of DeQuincy; brother Hayward L. Turner & wife Georgette of Huntsville, Alabama; and granddaughter, Brandy Alexander of Sulphur.
