

He was born and raised in Starks, LA to Ebb and Devina Hyatt. He proudly served his country in the Army and he loved to play his guitar and sing. He was a butcher most of his life and owned a hot shot trucking company for many of his later years. After retirement, he moved to Starks to live out his remaining years. He spent his last 16 years married to his loving wife, Linda Shaw Haytt. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Lee Hyatt; daughter, Ruby A. (Tinker) Roessler; three sons, Kurt Daren and Alan Hyatt; two step daughters, Beth Lester and Becky Reibling from Mobile, AL; 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild.
His funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday, January 20, 2011 at First Baptist Church in Starks. Rev. Chris Dubois will officiate. Burial will be in VFW Cemetery in Starks.
