Jayce Alexander Dorman

Jayce was a Junior and had attended Starks High School. He was currently enrolled at Parkview Christian School. Jayce loved trucks, music, and animals. He was tenderhearted and affectionate, and he never missed an opportunity to tell family members that he loved them.

He is survived by his father, David Rodney Dorman, Jr. of Starks, LA; his mother, Holly Travis Williams of Canyon Lake, TX, sisters, Lindsey Smith and Kelly Shannon; brothers, Ethan and Grayson Dorman; grandparents, Rodney and Mary Dorman of Starks, Frankie Travis, Charlotte and Ronnie Clark, and Morris Alexander, all of DeQuincy. Jayce is also survived by several aunts and uncles: Westley and Nikki Dorman, Tonya Wethersby, Linda Clark, Shelly and Keith Owens, Hal and Miranda Travis, and Janet McCurley, as well as a host of cousins and friends.

Jayce was preceded in death by his grandparents Howard D. Travis, Jr. and Barbara L. Travis.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 11, 2011 at the First Pentecostal Church of Starks from 4:00 p.m until 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Pentecostal Church of Starks with Brother Greg Frazier officiating. Burial will follow in Miller Annex Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Snider Funeral Home of DeQuincy, LA.
