Jessie Jean (Cotton) Berry, 92, of DeQuincy, Louisiana passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025. She was born to her late parents, Richard and Elma Cotton on May 16, 1933 in Robeline, Louisiana. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and would do flower arrangements for the church for many years. Most of all, she loved taking care and spending time with her family, whom she loved very much.
She is survived by her two sons, Ricky Berry (Dianne) of Longville, Louisiana and Randy Berry (Diane) of DeQuincy, Louisiana; four grandchildren, Sarah Brawdy (Alan), Greg Berry (Kaci), Megan Gallien (Matt), and Garrett Berry; along with five great grandchildren.
Jessie is preceded in death by her loving husband of 71 years, W.F. Berry; parents; along with her siblings, Richard, Jr., Walter, Clem, Dock, Tom, Winnie, Gracie, Lucille, Nena, Lula, and Louvina.
A Graveside Celebration of Jessie’s life will be held at Masonic Cemetery in DeQuincy, Louisiana on Friday, September 19, 2025 at 10:00 am, with Bro. Vance Perkins officiating.
