Jewell J. Taylor

Mrs. Taylor was a member of Longville First Baptist Church. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed spending time with family and friends

She is preceded in death by her husband James Paul (Monk) Taylor; parents, John and Caroline Frusha; daughter, Elaine Gros and sister, Mary Jacqueline Frusha Fenniken.

Survivors include son, Kenneth Wayne Taylor and wife, Penny of Sugarland, TX; daughters, Glenda F. Roger of Longville, Frances M. Leubner and husband , Robert of Ragley, Lisa T. Bennett and husband, Curtis of Longville; brother, Ronnie Lee Frusha and wife, Barbara of Lake Charles; son-in-law, Wayne Gros of Westlake; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday January 14, 2013 at Longville First Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev Stuart Graves officiating. Burial will be in Crown Point Cemetery in Moss Bluff under the direction of Hixson-Snider Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Sunday, January 13, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. til 8:00 p.m. at the church and will continue on Monday from 8:00 a.m. until service time.
