Jimmy Wilborn Haley Jr.

He was born in DeQuincy, LA and has lived there most of his life. He received his Business Degree from Harvard University and was a Proprietor of Skateland roller rink for 27 years. Jimmy enjoyed collecting antiques; he also loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was the world’s best husband, father and son. He prided himself in providing for his family and he enjoyed his job.

Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 38 years of marriage, Catherine Haley, his mother Bessie Bennet Haley; one son, Jeffery Haley and his wife Laura Haley; two daughters, Trina Denton and her husband David Denton, Katie Haley; one sister, Jenny Doyle; five grandchildren, Austin Denton, Haley Denton, Zachery Haley, Wyatt Denton and Jacob Haley. Jimmy is preceded in death by his father Jimmy Haley Sr.

Visitation will be from 3:00pm to 8:00pm Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Northside Baptist Church in DeQuincy, LA and will resume Monday, October 6, 2014 at the church from 10:00am until time of service.

Funeral Service will be at 2:00pm October 6, 2014 at Northside Baptist Church in Dequincy, LA with Dr. Ray Clark Officiating.

Burial will be at Masonic Cemetery.
