DEQUINCY - Johnie Mae Myers, 93, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2011 in West Monroe.
Johnie Mae was a longtime member of Mystic Baptist Church living in the DeQuincy area most of her life before moving to West Monroe in 1994.
She is survived by her son Franklin Pearce; daughter Janie Phillips and husband Richard; sister Nora Breaux; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and 2 great - great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband DeWitt Myers and sons Dwight and Carl Pearce.
Her funeral will be at 11:00 am, Wednesday, March 30, 2011 in Mystic Baptist Church under direction
of Hixson - Snider Funeral Home. Bro. Rayburn Pickering and Bro. Mark Schultz will officiate. Burial will be in Bilbo Cemetery. Visitation will be in the funeral home from 5 until 8 pm Tuesday and from 9:30 am until service time on Wednesday in the church.
