Juanita Darlene Cooper, 70, of Starks, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at her residence. She was born to her late parents, Alton and Vivian Cooper on August 31, 1950 in DeQuincy, LA. In her early years, she enjoyed sewing and patchwork, and fishing. Juanita also got a softball scholarship from McNeese State University. She took part in genealogy research, and loved getting to find out about her ancestry. She loved her animals, especially her dogs, cats, rabbits, and ferrets.
She is survived by her two sons, David Beglau of Starks, Frederick Allen Beglau of Bend, OR; two daughters, Cheryl Vivian Hicks (John) of Seattle, WA, Shelley Marie Beglau of Maryville, TN; four brothers, Clarence Cooper of Bancroft, Bobby Alton Cooper of Starks, Charles Cooper (Sharon) of Benbrook, TX, Thomas Cooper of Sulphur; two sisters, Silva Marcantel (Tom) of DeQuincy, Jessie Lola Statum (George) of Sulphur; brother-in-law, Kenneth Garnet; twelve grandchildren; along with one great granddaughter.
Juanita is preceded in death by two sisters, Nevada Rose Cooper, and Dorthey Eula Mae Cooper.
A Graveside Service will be held at Brushy Creek Cemetery in Bancroft on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 10:00am, with Bro. Harry Methvin officiating.
