Rodger Glen Clark

Rodger Clark, 63 passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Baylor University Hospital in Dallas. He was born in DeQuincy and lived in the Starks/DeQuincy area all of his life. He worked as a skidder driver in the timber industry. He loved playing pool and fishing.

He leaves behind his two sons Rodger Glen Clark, Jr. of Dallas, and Jeffrey Allen Clark and wife Karly also of Dallas. Also, he is survived by one sister Barbara Clark of DeQuincy, four stepsisters, and one stepbrother, along with three grandchildren Beth Clark, Jeffrey Clark, Jr., and Torey Lee Clark, all of Dallas, along with one great grandchild Charlotte, niece, Kayla Reed of Ragley, and ex-wife Cynthia Sanders. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Hyattt Franklin and father, Luther Clark and niece, Amy Denise Mitchell.

Services will be held at Hixson Snider Funeral Home on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 2:00pm. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm and will resume on Thursday from 12:00pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.
