Ronald “Slick” Lynn Clark, 61, of Ragley, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2025. He was born on April 20, 1964 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Ronald worked for forty years as an industrial paint supervisor. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, cookouts, and loved telling old stories by the campfire. Ronald also enjoyed listening to his music of all kinds. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, grandchildren, and friends whom he loved very much.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Charlotte Alexander Clark; sons, Gary Williams and David Williams (Brooke), all of DeQuincy, Louisiana; mother, Bobbie Clark of DeRidder, Louisiana; sister, Debbie Clark of DeRidder, Louisiana; four grandchildren, McKenzi Harmon of Sulphur, Louisiana, Riley Mae Williams, Madison Williams, and Xavier Williams, all of DeQuincy; nephew, Shaun Willis of DeRidder, Louisiana and his children, Destiny Primeaux, Christopher Primeaux, and Jodee Willis; nieces, LeAnne Roberts of Denver, Colorado and her son, Nathan Rondeau and Maria (Will) Foust and their children, Victoria Willis, Jessica Willis, and Ronnie Willis, all of San Antonio, Texas.
Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Della Mae Clark; along with his nephew, Jodee Willis.
A Celebration of Ronald’s life will be held at Hixson-Snider Funeral Home in DeQuincy, Louisiana on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 3:00 pm, with Pastor Donald Main officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday, from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Royer Cemetery in Sulphur, Louisiana.
