DeQuincy - Samuel Howard Martin, 66, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2013, in his residence.
Howard was a US Army veteran and a DeQuincy native. He enjoyed fishing and yardwork.
Survivors include his brother, Mitchell Martin of DeQuincy.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Hortense Martin.
His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, August 30, in Hixson-Snider Funeral Home. The Rev. Lloyd Parker will officiate. Burial will be in Hyatt Cemetery in Fields.
