She was a lifelong resident of DeQuincy, and was a member of Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church. She was a devoted housewife and mother.
She is survived by sons, Charles J. "Jack" Reneau, and wife Regina of Glen St.Mary, FL, Colvin J."Bub" Reneau of DeQuincy, and Kenneth C. "Kenny" Reneau and wife Phyllis of DeQuincy; daughter, Phyllis J. Young of DeQuincy; 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, CJ Reneau; brother, Woodrow Wilson "Joe" Alston; and sister, Pearl Royer.
Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, July 22 at Hixson-Snider Funeral Home. The Pastor Ron Fox will officiate. Burial will be in Alston Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 4pm-9pm and Friday 8 am til service.
