W.F. Berry

W. F. Berry, 94, of DeQuincy, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at his residence. He was born to his late parents, Haywood and Gracie Berry on August 24, 1929 in Marthaville, Louisiana. He enjoyed team roping, Quail hunting, fishing, and riding horses. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, who he loved very much.

He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Jessie Berry; two sons, Ricky Berry (Dianne) of Longville, Louisiana and Randy Berry (Diane) of DeQuincy, Louisiana; siblings, H.O. Berry (Paula), Jerry Berry (Valerie), Guynell Ganey (Terry), and Linda Veuleman (Van); four grandchildren, Sarah Brawdy (Alan), Greg Berry (Kaci), Megan Gallien (Matt), and Garrett Berry; along with four great grandchildren and one on the way.

Mr. Berry is preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, Wayne Berry, Valda Rae Berry, and Jackie Berry.

A Graveside Celebration of Mr. Berry's life will be held at Masonic Cemetery in DeQuincy, Louisiana on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at 11:00 am, with Bro. Vance Perkins officiating.
