Many fond memories of Walt. Dr. William Lehmann

Pastor Ruehrdanz was one of the most influential individuals in my life. He baptized me and confirmed me. He was a prominent officiant at my wedding. He was my friend. Always calling me by name...calming me with his presence. He was so reverent and proper...he loved his Lord and it showed through his every action. As a class we elected to postpone our Confirmation the Spring of his heart attack so that he would be healthy enough to confirm us in our Lutheran faith in May of that difficult year. He was a man worthy of our respect and love. Pastor, I will miss your smiling face and your unconditional love. Be glorified in the presence of our risen Lord! Julie
