Alice was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Carl Yarsevich, Jr.; her parents, Alexander and Evah Case; and brothers, Clifford and Carl Case.
Surviving to cherish her memory are two daughters, Evah (Scott) Cole, Mary (Shayne Stevens); five sons, Richard (Debbie), Daniel (Nancy), Ronald (Ronda), Carl III, Kenneth (Kelly Arndt); 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Jana Case.
Alice was a founding member of St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, a member of St. Joseph Circle, the DeWitt VFW Auxiliary #671, and was a volunteer at the St. Lawrence Gift Shop for numerous years.
Alice loved raising her 7 children and was involved in all their school activities. She loved volunteering at their school events and could always be found sitting in the stands cheering on her children in sports (with an occasional yell at the referees). Alice was quick witted, active throughout her life on various bowling leagues, very talented making clothes for her children, drawing many memorable murals on doors and walls, and an expert at crocheting, providing her children with many intricately crocheted items.
Alice especially cherished her grandchildren and great grandchildren, who will fondly remember her welcoming lap, warm embrace, contagious laugh, listening ear, and the long funny games of Scattergories. Her grandchildren are grateful she got to be such a large part of their lives.
Her loss is hard for her family and friends that loved her so dearly, but we find comfort in knowing that she is with us always. We will all miss her immensely. Love you forever Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma.
