Anne Elizabeth Kinney

Anne Elizabeth (Arnold) Kinney, 71, of DeWitt, formerly of Mt. Morris, passed away June 19, 2013 in the comfort of her own home. She was born in Flint on august 9, 1941 to Edward Lyle and Marguerite Thirza (Foreman) Arnold. Anne graduated from Mt. Morris High School in 1959. She earned her associate’s degree from Flint Community Junior College (Mott Community College) in 1964. She was retired from the State of Michigan Lab Services with over 20 years of dedicated work. She loved sewing, gardening, traveling and floral arranging. She is survived by her son, United States Army Staff Sergeant Robert E. Kinney and daughter, Krystnn A. (Kinney) Hanson; daughter-in-law, Sarah Kinney and son-in-law, Yonni Hanson; grandchildren, Jason Hanson, Zackary Hanson, Cameron Kinney, Olivia Hanson, Christina Swineheart and Steven Kish; and great-grandchildren, Parker Kish and Makenzi Kish. Anne is also leaving behind her two cherished Siamese cats, Suzie and Mufasa. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anne’s name to Capital Area Human Society, 7095 West Grand River Avenue, Lansing, MI 48906. A memorial gathering with provided refreshments will take place at Anne’s home, 812 W. Amesbury Dr. DeWitt, MI, on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 2:00 p.m.
