Anthony Parisi

DeWitt

Age 92, died August 28, 2012. He was born November 1, 1919 in Tunis, Tunisia to Joseph and Domenica (Russo) Parisi. Anthony was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and his family was the center of his life. He was an entertaining storyteller, master gardener, seasoned fisherman and an avid sports fan.

Anthony was preceded in death by his wife Maria (2007). Surviving are his daughters Rita and Ann (Robert) Cool; two grandchildren, Allen and Annmarie Ashby; many cousins, nieces and nephews in the U.S. and France. He was known as “Papa Tony” to many.

A funeral mass will be held Saturday, September 1, 11:00 a.m. at the Catholic Community of St. Jude, DeWitt, with Rev Dwight Ezop officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, August 31, 6-8 p.m. at the church. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
