She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, had a love of flowers, the outdoors, fishing, music and, most of all, traveling. Barb was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Todd VanHorn; and sisters, Sandra Brown, Jacqueline Auld, Cindy Wiltshire and Debra Baker. Surviving to cherish her memory is her husband, Robert VanHorn, with whom she would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in October; children, Sherry (Tim) Grondine, Tim VanHorn and Terry (Pam) VanHorn; grandchildren, Nick Washburn, Vinnie VanHorn, Alicia VanHorn, Jamie Washburn and Zack VanHorn; great-grandchildren, Devin and Jarrod Van Horn and Seth VanHorn; brothers, Vincent (Judy) Wiltshire, Jr., and Sheral (Joyce) Wiltshire; sisters, Becky (Tom) Irvin and Tammy Velez; many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 3, at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Washington in DeWitt. Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 2, and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the family and/or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 1421 E. 12 Mile Rd., Madison Heights, MI 48071, in memory of Barbara J. VanHorn.
