Barry thank you for helping me face my illness which I had trouble facing the reality of it all. This year I thought I could fix my lawnmowers which I couldn’t so you stepped in and fixed them for me. You made sure that my generator was up and running to keep us warm Incase we lost power and I didn’t have to ask. But you helped so many in my family when they would call for your help. You always showed up with a big smile.
You Mr Barry Derke was loved because you cared and helped others with their problems while dealing with your own. Gosh we will miss you but I know your memories will live within us forever ❤️

So many memories Barry, from when we would have hay rides at the farm to taking your truck to the park and going 4 wheeling! Then you marrying my twin, and then having 2 sons that I’m proud to call my nephews! And rocky roads settling in and you moved in a few times with Jordyn and I! I’m blessed that Jordyn and yourself got as close as you did. She loves you so much, you attended some basketball games with your dad to watch her play and would come to her birthday parties. I will miss our talks we had ,your helping around my parents house and your silliness. Your at peace now and we will forever be blessed that you touched our life so deeply. Love you brother in law and uncle!
