

Bradley Aaron Walczak, age 39, died April 9, 2026, in DeWitt, Michigan, unexpectedly from complications of an abdominal infection. Born August 15, 1986, in Oak Lawn, IL, Bradley was a 2004 graduate of DeWitt High School.
Bradley is survived by parents Robert and Laurie Walczak; brother J. R. Walczak; grandparents Robert Walczak Sr., and William and Diane Walker ( Mema ); uncles and aunts Dan Walczak, Linda Kopchia and (Tim Cox ), Renee Moran, Bill and Liz Ross, and David and Amanda Ross; as well as numerous cousins. Bradley was preceded in death by grandmother Elaine Walczak ( Nana ) and uncle Don Moran.
Brad will be remembered for the steady strength and courage he carried through life, and for the sincere way he connected with the people and places he loved. He enjoyed listening to and making music under the name ( Dubsac ), and found real joy in sharing that creative part of himself.
Brad also loved to travel, visiting many places including Florida, California, Alaska, and Canada, among others. Wherever he went, he was especially drawn to amusement parks—an enthusiastic fan of roller coasters and water rides who always looked forward to the next one.
A devoted animal lover, Brad held a special affection for his dogs. He was also a proud member of the Lansing Foodies group on Facebook, reflecting a genuine appreciation for community and the simple pleasures of good food shared with others.
Brad’s legacy of strength and courage will live on in the people who knew and loved him. His light will shine brightly in our hearts forever.
